Bishop Barthol Barretto visited St Francis De Sales Church, Jalgaon on July 01, 2024.
He addressed and interacted with the parishioners, youth and children. Since the PPC term was over, he advised that Parish Pastoral Council and the Parish Finance Committee are to be formed.
Bp Barthol encouraged the youth to engage in different activities of the parish, and especially motivated them to take up the responsibility of catechesis i.e. Sunday School classes. He visited the Sisters of the Carmelite Convent, and encouraged them to take active part in the parish activities.
He visited three poor families with sick members, and offered prayers for them. It was a memorable experience for the families who never expected that the Bishop would visit them.
